Bio
Scott A. Emerick provides immigration law services for families, businesses, and those seeking asylum or facing deportation. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2011, graduating with honors from the University of California. He became a CARES volunteer at Southwestern Law School before earning his Juris Doctor degree at the same institution in 2014, also graduating with honors. In 2012, he acted as Legal Extern to the Honorable Michelle Williams Court in the Los Angeles Superior Court and Legal Extern to the Honorable Barry Russell in the United States Bankruptcy Court – Central District of California. He joined Bolour / Carl Immigration Group, APC in 2013.
Attorney Emerick has a strong background in legal writing and research, as well as litigation and trial experience. He has extensive knowledge in family immigration law, removal defense, and federal litigation, and he also handles business and entrepreneur immigration cases. He was a chair member of the Southern California AILA Chapter and frequently offers advice and education on matters related to immigration law at conferences for the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). His dedication to immigration law and commitment to his clients have earned him the respect and admiration of his peers and clients.
